Anonymous asked: where do you get your fashion inspiration from? do you watch tv, if so, what? what made you want to start a fashion blog?

I wouldn’t call it a “fashion blog”, but more of a personal style blog. I started reading blogs online, such as Calivintage, and Liebemarlene, and Delightfully Tacky. I loved seeing their adventures, and outfits, and was amazed at their ability to style things and try new things. I’ve been a blogger forever (hey livejournal), and I started and deleted a blogspot many times. I couldn’t figure out how to treat it since it was so public. I started challening myself to dress more like how I wanted to dress, and documenting it. If you go back to the beginning, it wasn’t very good, but I like seeing how it has changed over time. In terms of inspiration, other bloggers, movies, television, and some ~real fashion~ inspires me. I can’t afford the fancy things, but I love trying to thrift versions of them. Longest answer ever.
